ROK Cup Philippines Round 3

After a month away from racing, I returned to the track at the Palawan International Circuit for the third round of the ROK Cup Philippine Series. The intense heat and sudden afternoon rain made the weekend even more challenging.

During time trials, my kart had problems from the very first lap. I stayed focused and kept pushing, and despite the setback, I managed to set the fastest lap. In both qualifying heats, I built a strong gap over the field, earning pole position for the final.

The final was not easy. I lost the lead at the start and dropped to third after an overtake in Turn 10. Instead of panicking, I stayed calm and focused. By the second lap, I regained second place and gradually closed the gap to the leader. A racing incident later gave me the opportunity to take the lead, and from there, I stayed consistent for the remaining laps.

After seven more laps of determined driving, I crossed the finish line in first place. This race reminded me that setbacks can happen at any time, but staying calm, focused, and determined can turn a difficult situation into a rewarding finish.
