VS Racing Motorsports Race of Champions Grand Prix 2024

I competed in the VS Racing Motorsports Race of Champions Grand Prix 2024 at Carmona Racing Track, making my debut in the MiniROK category. I started the final from 4th position, and the race was exciting from the beginning, with the top four drivers constantly battling and exchanging positions almost every lap.

I focused on overtaking one driver at a time until I reached the front. However, around Lap 4 or 5, I was overtaken by three drivers at Turn 5 and dropped back to 4th place. I stayed calm and fought my way forward, gaining one position at a time.

On the final lap, I knew I had a strong exit from the last corner. I used the slipstream on the main straight, moved to the left, and made my final overtake just before the finish line. I crossed the checkered flag in 1st place by only 0.135 seconds, becoming the MiniROK Overall Champion in my very first race in the category.

It was an incredible experience and a very special way to begin my MiniROK journey. I was also proud to achieve a purple run in every session for the first time, showing how much I had learned and improved throughout the weekend.

This victory taught me that a race is never over until you cross the checkered flag. I kept believing, kept fighting, and the final lap made all the difference.
