2024 Round 8 Petron Blaze 100 Tillotson T4 Cup

The final round of the 2024 Tillotson T4 Cup Philippine Series was held at Carmona Racing Track, where I competed in the Formula Cadet Expert class. With the Novice and Expert categories sharing the same grid, the weekend was challenging from the start.

I finished 9th in the Time Trial after struggling to put together a clean lap. In the rainy Qualifying Heat 1, I fought my way to 3rd place, followed by 4th in Heat 2 on a damp track. These results placed me 2nd on the starting grid for the final.

Unfortunately, I had a slow start during the rolling formation and dropped to 6th place by Turn 2. I stayed focused and worked my way forward one position at a time, eventually finishing 4th overall after nine laps. More importantly, I finished 2nd in the Formula Cadet Expert class.

It was a challenging way to end the season, but I was proud that I kept fighting after a difficult start. The race reminded me that staying calm, focused, and determined can help me recover even when things do not go as planned.
