2024 Round 3 RMC Asia Trophy — Langkawi

Another round of the Rotax Max Challenge Asia Trophy brought me to Morac Adventure Park in Langkawi, Malaysia, for my first time racing on the circuit. The hot weather and challenging track made the weekend demanding, but I spent time with Coach Rafael Perez during the track walk, learning how to approach the corners and understand the circuit.

I set a personal best during the Time Trial but finished 6th because the competition was very strong. I placed 7th in the Qualifying Heat and remained 7th in the Pre-Final after a strong start but a difficult race.

In the Micro Max Final, I had another good start and was fighting to move forward when contact with another kart caused my kart to flip and crash upside down. Thankfully, I was able to get out safely, and after resting for a while, I felt better. Unfortunately, I could not finish the race.

Although I did not reach the podium, this race taught me an important lesson about staying strong through difficult moments. I came home with valuable experience, a stronger mindset, and a deeper understanding of what I need to improve. This setback will not stop me from chasing my dream.
