2023 Round 1 Petron Motorsports Karting Academy Clubrace

The first leg of the 2023 Petron Motorsports Karting Academy Clubrace was held on March 25-26. I competed in the Cadet class using a Tony Kart Rookie with a Honda GX200 engine. With many drivers preparing hard for the new season, the competition was becoming more challenging.

I had a difficult weekend, finishing 7th in the time trial, 11th in Qualifying Heat 1, and 6th in Heat 2. Unfortunately, I was unable to finish the final after another kart hit mine and slid into the berm, causing my chain to come off the sprocket.

Although it was not the result I wanted, the experience taught me an important lesson: racing is not always about winning, but also about learning from every challenge, staying positive, and coming back stronger.
