2023 Round 3 Asian Karting Open Championship — Clark

The December leg of the Asian Karting Open Championship at Clark International Speedway was another exciting and challenging race weekend for me. After weeks of testing and preparation with the BRacing team, I was happy to finally feel the race-day atmosphere again.

I had a strong start to the weekend, finishing 1st in the time trial, 1st in Qualifying Heat 1, 2nd in Heat 2, and 1st in Heat 3. I started the pre-final in a good position and finished 2nd after a close battle during the opening laps.

In the 13-lap final, I started 2nd but dropped to 4th after a late reaction during the rolling start. I stayed focused and fought my way back, making important overtakes and eventually crossing the finish line in 2nd place.

Finishing 2nd overall was a proud moment for me. It reminded me that even when I make mistakes, I can stay calm, keep fighting, and never give up until I reach the checkered flag. I am thankful to God, my BRacing team, my coaches and mechanics, and especially my parents for their continued guidance and support.
