2023 Round 2 Asian Karting Open Championship — Clark

The second leg of the 2023 Asian Karting Open Championships at Clark International Speedway on July 28–30 was one of the most memorable races of my early karting journey. With rain expected, the BRacing team and I prepared carefully throughout the weekend.

After the team adjusted my kart’s wheel alignment, I felt more comfortable and confident on the track. I set the fastest time in the Formula Cadet Novice category and finished 4th, 1st, and 1st in the three qualifying heats, earning pole position for the pre-final. After finishing 2nd in the pre-final, I stayed focused and fought back to win the final and become Champion.

This victory was special because it showed me that preparation, teamwork, patience, and determination can make a big difference. I am grateful to God for giving me strength and good health, to Coach Bong Perez and the entire BRacing team for their guidance and hard work, and to my parents for always supporting me throughout my racing journey.
